Born in Brisbane, Australia, I grew up dancing since the age of three; I trained in all styles of dance. I completed my formal training at Griffith University, Australia, where I studied a Bachelor of Photography. It seems only natural to combine both passions of dance and photography into one.
I moved over to London at the age of 23 to pursue a career as a dance photographer. My Instagram has helped me reach out to dancers all over the world; I have worked in London, Milan, Edinburgh, New York, Australia and more!
Ready to shoot! I use a Canon 5D Mark III camera and Adobe Photoshop to quickly produce high-quality content for my dancers. It allows me to capture their leaps and kicks in focus. As a dancer myself, I know when the peak of the jump is coming so, I am able to always capture the best moment for my clients.
Dance is my passion, and I love what I do. Showing a dancer's technique is something I am really focused on. So much training goes on inside the studio walls, taking the dancer outside to a public place, allows for creativity, choreographing a new position to fit within the space. Never the same results, each place I travel to is always new and inspiring.
